Stunning Alfas shine at The Hurlingham Club

(Courtesy of MSN Cars)

TWO beautiful Alfa Romeos were among the stunning array of vehicles on show at the recent Concours D’Elegance 2013 at The Hurlingham Club in London

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce, seen in bright Italian scarlet,  was the hot hatch of its day with a 90hp 1.3-litreengine, good for 112mph. Just over 3,000 were made making this an instant classic.

Built by coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring, the 2000 Spider – this one was in grey – is indisputably one of the most beautiful Alfas ever created. The Spider had a 115hp engine and in later guises was available as a 2+2.

  1. Absolutely beautiful cars, they certainly don’t make them like they used to (although I think I’ve fallen in love with the new 4c!)
